Ethiopia

Ethiopia is considered the birthplace of coffee and offers some of the best cups on Earth! This is a high-altitude grown coffee that is washed giving it a beautifully bright finish. Raro Boda is located on the eastern edge of Uraga and buys from about 700 small scale farmers each with less than 1 hectare of coffee planted.
It's no wonder that this incredibly delicious coffee has received very high cupping scores! Potent floral aromatics of jasmine and fruit-types of mango and apricot surround this cup. The initial flavor is a simple syrup but then opens to a delicious clover honey note.

Ethiopia

This coffee comes from small farmers in the Yirgacheffe region. This region has a dramatic landscape with very high altitudes of 1900 – 2200 meters above sea level. The cold weather combined with the thin air in these high altitudes slows the rate of plant maturation, which produces a very dense and often smaller-sized coffee bean. Dense coffee has a higher potential for sweetness and acidity, a very high quality coffee bean.
The Yigra Cheffe Chelchele features corn syrup and molasses delicate floral top notes that open up to tea-like sweetness of fruited hints of peach and starfruit. Some woody aromatics in the finish. A beautifully cultivated cup!

This year’s crop has been praised for its impressive sweetness and spice aroma.
